Storytelling Is the frontline of Human-AI collaboration. If we like it or not these new narratives will shape public perception more than white papers ever could. This practical course welcomes: Writers, illustrators, digital media artists, filmmakers, animators, performers, Designers, and interdisciplinary artists. The focus is creative use of AI in visual, immersive, and performative storytelling.
The course explores the intersection of art, and artificial intelligence through hands-on activities. Adjusting to the interests of the participants we examine and create prototypes by utilizing the latest updates of ever-evolving tools in the AI world. Through a series of case studies, discussions, and real-world examples, participants will discover how AI is being used to generate stunning Artworks. The seminar has a special focus on: AI-Generated Art, Interactive Installations with AI, Ethical Considerations in AI Art, AI in Film and Animation, AI and Music Composition, The Future of AI and New Media Art.

Sina Ataeian Dena is an interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and University lecturer. His films and Artwork were showcased in prestigious international festivals and museums. Currently, he lectures at UdK Berlin and the German Film and Television Academy Berlin, dffb.

ARTIST TRAINING is a consulting and further education program at the Berlin University of the Arts for artists at risk. The aims are to network in the cultural and creative industries as well as in the UdK Berlin, to qualify for strategic positioning in the respective artistic field and to provide advice on further professional development. Since 2016, a total of 54 basic and in-depth courses have offered information and contacts to over 800 participants from the following sectors Music, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Film and initially also Cultural Journalism. 2020 - 21 Educational films, workshops, excursions and advice on basic topics were offered at three other locations (Babelsberg, Hamburg, Hanover). Parallel to this, series of events and podcasts on institutional transformation processes were created.
The project Access Art Schools Berlin in cooperation with the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch is funded from April to December 2025 by special funds for participation for refugees, Senate Department Berlin.
