Studio Babelsberg, founded in 1912, is the oldest large-scale studio complex in the world and one of Europe’s leading service providers for feature films and TV productions. 21 sound stages and various backlots on a 42-acre lot, state-of-the-art technology, unique production service, skilled set construction department and huge prop shops make Studio Babelsberg a one-stop shop for German and international filmmakers. Recent references are THE FRENCH DISPATCH, MATRIX 4, CHARLIE’S ANGELS, GUNPOWDER MILKSHAKE and the series DARK and BABYLON BERLIN.
Bio: Eike Wolf (Director Studio Operations & Marketing / Member of the Management Board)
As a member of the management board at Studio Babelsberg AG, Eike Wolf oversees all physical operations of Babelsberg studios. He has been with Babelsberg since 2007 and was initially responsible for investor relations. He then served as the company spokesman until 2017 and is now responsible for stage rental, studio operations and marketing. Eike Wolf is a trained banker and holds a Magister Artium (M.A.) degree from Freie Universität Berlin where he studied Media and Communication Sciences and Business Administration. Prior to Babelsberg, he had his own communications agency specializing in advertising and public relations.
Bio: Sina Ataeian
Sina Ataeian Dena is a Persian Berlin-based Filmmaker and Artist. He graduated from the study programme Art and Media at the UdK Berlin and received his Bachelor’s in Film Directing from Sooreh University of Arts in Tehran. His debut film “Paradise" (2015) was nominated for Golden Leopard in the main competition of Locarno Film Festival and won Best Film at Ecumenical Jury and Art Peace Award. "Paradise" was subsequently awarded at various international film festivals. Since 2016 Sina has been a scholar at Goethe-Institut. He has exhibited video arts, interactive video installations and photographs in prestigious contemporary art museums like Villa Merkel in Stuttgart and Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin.

The DAAD project Artist Training DIGITAL BASICS is a qualification program at the UdK Berlin Career College for exiled artists*. From August 2020 to December 2021, learning videos on basic topics of self-employment in Germany will be produced and imparted to professional exiled artists* of all sectors by means of in-depth workshops, consultations, practical modules and excursions. The teaching goals of the continuing education programs are networking in the local cultural and creative industries, strategic positioning in the respective artistic orientation and establishing oneself in the job market.
