PERFORMING ARTS Irem AydIn: From Concept to Creation: Navigating the Performing Arts Scene in Germany / 7 to 29 October 2024
The course “From Concept to Creation” provides artists at risk with practical skills, insights into funding opportunities, project conceptualization, practical application essentials, and discourse in art theory, fostering confidence and support in navigating the Performing Arts scene in Germany. The workshop will include the following four moduls: Navigating Funding Opportunities, Conceptualizing Ideas into Projects, Practical Application Essentials and Discourse and Theory.
Irem Aydin, a theater director and author, focuses on queer and post-migrant themes, blending biographical perspectives into artistic forms.

Since 2016 the Artist Training provides 51 modules containing information and contacts for about 800 artists in exile and creatives from the following fields: music, culture and media, fine arts, performing arts, and film. Networking events facilitate connections within the respective artistic sectors, while consulting activities examine in depth individual situations.
The Counselling Centre Artist Training Berlin offers initial counselling and further placement for all artistic-creative areas and is located at the Berlin Career College of the Berlin University of the Arts.
